Whoops
« on: March 17, 2010, 10:23:28 »
I have been sure I had planted courgette and corn bur thought the dementia had set in until this morning!!! There they all were in the airing cupboard looking more like yellow trifids than plants. Will I have to throw them away or will they recover? Ghrrr. ???

I would say much too early. Wait till end April, early May, they sprout up so quicky when it is warmer, I don't see any point in sowing now.
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

If you've got the space to keep them growing in pots till the weather warms up they'll recover. If you're not going to manage pots big enough for them to grow steadily till then, chuck them and start again.
