problem with honey suckle
« on: February 21, 2010, 20:54:12 »
Hi all
I have a honey suckle that for the past two years starts with good growth but then the healthy leaves turn yellow and drop off and I'm left with a straggly shrub,  it has been growing against the house in full sun, the soil is heavy but i made a large hole and back filled with loam and compost,I've moved it to a slightly shadier spot  and better drainage..any one have any ideas

They do tend to suffer with mildew and that can cause all the leaves to drop.It could be an idea to spray with Fungus Fighter when it is in full leaf. If you spray before the mildew starts you can prevent it but you will not cure it when you have it.
