Raspberry Canes
« on: February 14, 2010, 21:44:49 »
Hi There,

Can anyone help I am a complete novice and have bought a pot of 10 raspberry canes all bundled together. Am I supposed to separate these up or plant them in as one plant? They are Glen Moy.

Sorry for the stupid question.

If you have any more tips all help is gratefully accepted.

Thank you

Plant them in a row, about 18" apart, you will need support, and there is loads more to add.

Thanks very much, I have a tiny garden and have bought 20 canes!!! Looks like i will use about 5 and go and give the rest away to the nice people at the allotments round the corner.  ;D

Perhaps some will give you a promise of some produce in return for the raspberries.
