They have reallocated my tasks amongst themselves (allegedly)... can't think who got the treasurers job... but I also did events which inluded NGS open days, plant sales and evening visits..  :)

Knowing the entheusiasm that you have concerning the plant sales and other stuff you do on you allotment site then it must have been something really hard hitting to make you give up. I remember you at last years plant sale standing out there in the rain all on your own in case someone wanted to buy something. I bet the others won't be so keen
yes   we were there as well  as you know  shirlton   i     don't think rain was the word for it   we left and went for a meal   then drove home took 2 hours  and when we got in we were still wet through     all the rest of your post spot on

It was the wettest Open Day I`ve ever been to! And its success was testament to saddad`s commitment.
But on the slightly brighter side - and to be honest - there were other very nice, very wet, people meeting and greeting, showing round, chatting to visitors, manning the gate, serving refreshments.
Every event needs a visionary organiser at its head, but there were others involved.
I`m sure it will go ahead, if not with saddad`s flair and flourish.

Well I'm sorry to hear there was no flouncing or slamming.  ;)
It doesn't sound as if you really want to change things now-it's a shame they've lost their creative director but you still have your plot(s) and plenty to do. I was really looking forward to your Open Days now I live up here.  ::)
Don't throw paper away. There is no away.
