A recent survey came up with the following employment stats
 
Now we can see what position we were in or even where we are at the present time.
 
The ten best paid job and the ten worst paid.
 
 
Directors and chief executives of major organisations.
Average annual salary: £115,576
Job titles include: Chief executive, company director, general manager, managing director (of major organisations).
 

Medical practitioners
Average annual salary: £78,366
Job titles include: Anaesthetist, doctor, hospital consultant, GP, physician, psychiatrist, psycho-analyst, registrar, surgeon.
 
 
Senior officials in national government
Average annual salary: £68,283
Job titles include: Assistant secretary, diplomat, MEP, MP, permanent secretary.
 
 
Brokers
Average annual salary: £61,117
Job titles include: Commodity trader, financial broker, foreign exchange dealer, insurance broker, shipbroker, stockbroker.
 
 
Air traffic controllers

Well, I'm certainly none of the above but my uncle is a town clerk so I might start being really extra nice to him!  ;D

They left off the bankers with their millions in bonuses then. and The Football players, other sports player, Performers, Entertainers, and the supporting industry.


I found out that they get these figures from advertised jobs. Or jobs which are in the public sector. So have a known pay scale.

They do not mean much in reality
