We are takingour daughter to London for 2 nights on 19th/20th and want to go to a show (musical or theatre).Most of the online deals exclude fri,Sat and school holidays, which is when we will be there. Does anyone know whether we are still likely to be able to get last minute tickets from the booths like the one at Leicester square tube station?

We have used the ticket booth several times with great success. You need to be careful which booth you use - there are several around Leicester Square. We always go to this one

They list what  is available each day, and although it says updated at 11am (I think) last time I went about 3 weeks ago it was updated just after 9am. Could save you a wasted journey  ;D Also you need to be there early for the best choice! Hope you have a lovely weekend, so much to do in London.
