Saturday morning - blue, blue clear sky here in Brum but v.v.v.cold - nice to stay in and look out - what's it like in your neck of the woods, Mal? Hope that you've had a good night and that you check in with us during the day. Thinking of you.

still very chesty, snotty so I can't breath through my mouth and get puffed wneh I go upstairs but, at least i feel like doing something, just sorted the bills and put some washing in the machine  ;D
hope your wine flu is better today?  ;D

Hiya Mal!

Do you ever check out BBCiPlayer or 4OD? Loads to watch there.

Sure it's going to snow again some time soon, so I've checked out the charity shop for books, oh! and called in at the wine shop for top-up supplies should things get dire again. hmmmm...thinks.....well, it's certainly cold enough for snow right now... ;)

OT really but part of all the house refurbishment I'm doing at the moment involves building a proper wine rack in an understairs cupboard - so dark and even temperature. Next month I'll get to fill it with wine!!

As well as iplayer and 4OD you can download whole series although not sure it's strictly legal. My son recently downloaded Bones and Boston legal. Or programmes off itunes (but you have to pay for them).

Or you could do some garden planning and sort your seeds??

don't worry, I've loads to do, got some correspondence caught up with this afternoon, printed some photos out, bought some pressies over the web, actually managed to defrost a strawberry sponge and we've just eaten it with lovely custard, I really think it's on it's way out  ;D
now, be cafeful Hyacinth, you might relapse with your wine flu , and Anne, you're setting yourself up for it  ;D
still got some of my birthday books to read , Elizabeth peters and Terry pratchett, and forgot I was bought 'stardust' dvd for christmas off my lovely grandchildren , I only remembered when Callum asked if I'd seen it yet  ;D
going to start some parsnip seeds off chitting on monday, I covered a bed with plastic for them last week so it should be nice and warm next week :)
btw, seeds are sorted and plans are made, first thing I did  ;D

DO hope that all's progressing well....no high temp? no lung congestion?

Manics, Just catching up on A1A and read you're under the Swine.
Hoping you'll take it easy, study some seed catalogues, so you don't relapse which seems to be par for the course here.
The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.

eww no gotta be ketchup not brown sauce.  :P
Please don't be offended by my nickname 'Mortality'
As to its history it was the name of a character I played in an online game called 'Everquest'
The character 'Mortality Rate' was a female Dark Elf Necromancer, the name seemed apt at the time and has been used alot by me over the years.
