What a clever idea! Reusing/recycling local resources.Kind of like a raised bed with stones for warmth so extending the growing season I would think. It would be interesting to know just how much they get from that relatively small area and also how they maintain the very high level of fertility. Must read more about it.

Food crops can be grown on a much bigger scale in inhospitable conditions too.

what a great video about Lesotho.  Amazing work.  Its nice to see organisations working at ground level carrying out that work for individuals
