Tim, I think they were made by prestige but I am not sure.  I have two, both rusting and not used for food these days.

They are brilliant for scraping flour and bits of pastry up when you have finished rolling out, gets rid of all the gunge before you clean.  And as you say for so many other jobs, including lifting joints out of roasting tins, perfect for serving pies, cheesecakes etc.  One has an orange handle and the other a brownish colour.

Our cookery teacher taught us to do eveything with them.  I have been looking for ages so might get in touch with Lakeland too.

Am amazed to see this thread as I so much want to replace them.

Thank you,

T.

I have lost my camera so can't take a photo at the moment!  I am sure they are the same, with the rivets across the scoop part.

Hi Tim,

They are too bad for food use now I am afraid, so not really Tim, I'm sorry, wouldn't want to be the cause of any illness in your home.  But I am now convinced I will send one to Lakeland and see if they can do anything.  I spent ages just going through google images last night to see if I could even find a photo of one but to no avail so there must be no-one producing them any more.  It was the fact that they were flexible as well as strong and could be used for so many things - it is why I needed two as I used them so much and was always washing them up!

I will let you know how I get on.

Hope all is well with you and Mrs Tim

After all the advertising on here about this miracle tool you could probably go into production and end up in profit.
