Nasturtium plants growing now.
« on: November 24, 2009, 17:54:40 »
I planted lots of seeds earlier this year as a short term measure for covering large areas of unplanted soil.  They flowered, somewhat disappointingly,  and then seeded.

Over the last 6/7 weeks the plants have started to grow again, with some flowering.  They are spreading more than the first plants, some are several feet long.  Will the frost kill them at this stage?  I never realised that they had a second season but judging by the amount of seeds next year should be very colourful.

The plants will die back when the frost comes but they will reappear next year like very colourful and useful  weeds!
