Can you grow Kidney Beans in this country and where can ou obtain seeds.

You can definitely grow different sorts of haricot beans and borlotti beans. And I'm sure I've seen mention of beans that are "like" kidney beans in seed catalogues, without actually being kidney beans. The organis catalogue lists beans that are specifically for drying - have a look there.

I had some success with them this year, I used dried kidney beans and soaked them for 24 hours, then put them in a bowl & waited for them to start sprouting. Once they were sprouting I planted them out. They grow about a foot high and no pests seem to bother with them.
