Odd Plant
« on: November 20, 2009, 17:11:57 »
This has popped up quite rapidly on my plot:

Any ideas what it could be?

I knew someone called Ivor Plant. Unfortunately he was not a nurseryman.

Does it have a small white flower?

I haven't seen it flower as yet, Digeroo.

I think I'll dig it up and put it into a pot to see what occurs over the next few months.

Someone said it may be wild lettuce .....?

Not wild lettuce, we get those on our site... a pronounced white rib down the middle of the leaves and some small spines...  :-X

Because my surname was Plant at school, they used to call me 'little weed'.
