Lungwort
« on: October 08, 2009, 21:15:47 »
I have a large clump of lungwort (pulmonaria) at one corner of my allotment.

I have now found a small piece of the plant growing in the opposite end of the plot, where no longwort has ever been (to my knowledge). This area has been sprayed with weedkiller twice in the past 6 months.

Odd!

Not that I'm aware of, but we do have a large cat population on the site. By that I don't mean large cats as in lions, etc!

Could the lungwort multiply in the same way that weeds do, ie- airborne seed transit?
