Another seed swap
« on: September 15, 2009, 08:24:58 »
Hi
I've been having a sort out of my seeds and have quite a few to give away - basically they are seeds/varieties that I've been given or I've tried or are running closer to their sow by dates.

Cosse Violette Climbing French Bean - Kings Seeds Sow by July10 – 20 seeds
Blue Lake Climbing French Bean - Kings Seeds sow by July10 – 36 seeds
Cucumber Beth Alpha – Johnsons World Kitchen sow by 2011 - 30 seeds
Artichoke Green Globe – Kings Seeds sow by July10 – 15 seeds
Courgette All Green Bush – Kings Seeds sow by July10 – 8 seeds
Tomato Sweet Million – Kings Seeds sow by July 11 – 10 seeds
Tomato Alisa Craig – Kings Seeds sow by Jul 11 – 8 seeds
Tomato Chipano F1 – Johnsons World Kitchen sow by 2011 – 10 seeds
Pumpkin New England Pie – Johnsons World Kitchen sow by 2010 -5 seeds
Chilli Hot Thai Culinary – Johnsons World Kitchen sow by 2011 – 10 seeds
Tomato Red Cherry – Seeds of Italy sow by 2011 – 20 seeds
Radish Mooli Mino early – Johnsons Seeds sow by 2011 – lots
Radish Long White Icicle – Johnsons Seeds sow by 2011 – lots

I don't really want owt in return but I guess the only things, if you have some spare, would be a few flower seeds  such as Cornflowers, Cosmos, Echinacea, gypsophila, trailing nasturtium, nicotiana, salvia, sunflower (giant), sweet peas. But if you don’t have any of these it doesn’t really matter

If you are quick I can get some in the post today, otherwise it will be early next week

The Pumpkin New England Pie sound very interesting ... I'd love to try them!  How big do they get ???

I'd love to try some of both of the beans if still available. I know I've got some cornflowers and Echinacea seeds, I will check later to see what else.

I've got a bean experiment going too.... trying to see if black-eye beans from a supermarket pack will germinate.... will save me buying some next year if they do :D
