I've inherited an almond tree and the fruit seems to be splitting to reveal the nuts in their shells inside.
Any advice about what I should do next?
Thanks !

The way we harvest them here is by placing a net or tarpaulin on the ground around the trunk of the tree and then give it a good shake and a few whacks with a stick. The fruit splitting means they are ready for harvest.
