sounds like a good idea graceland,would aslo help those like myself,that are planning on a community plot for those that cant get about as easy as others too.

Soundslike a good idea to me.  Took my handicapped daugher down to see my allotment realised it was a total nightmare.  Path too steep, gate too narriow path too bumpy,  Allotment totally unnegotiatable with wheelchair.  But she loved the pigs eating marrows,

we've had to adapt our allotment site for accessibility.
we have a disabled group using one of our plots and a disabled lad coming on with his parents.
I agree that Thrive is a good group to get in touch with, plus the allotments regeneration initiative site has links , we found out about painting the edges of paths and beds yellow for partially sighted people
