No sound on PC

Hi all
I dont have sound coming from my pc. I have an exclamation mark in yellow circle next to: "any other devices" and multimedia, audiocontroller icons.
Can anyone help me? What am I to do now?

Sound card gone phut? Or dislodged? Or loose cable? Or corrupt driver?

''exclamation mark in yellow circle '' usually means  that something is trying to use the same resorces as the sound card. have you installed any other cards just before this happened?
