Well thats a first! or not!

Got back from holiday saturday and found we had got 3rd for best allotment!

Thanks! If the truth be known then we should have got 1st or 2nd about 4 years ago but nothing so
thought it was all a fix! didnt enter but it seems this year they entered everyone!

Funny though because dont think we deserved 3rd this year! There were better ones in my opinion but they do judge all your plots as one!!! ;D

Well done!..... I usually get back from my trips away to find snippy notes about weeds and strimming paths in my Inbox from the secretary.... admittedly he sends them to everyone :D


Oh yes and finding that the squash is invading next doors plot and my courgettes have decided that "big is beautiful".....

had a good go at the weeds/grass on paths yesterday only to get a massive blister, went to let go of the hoe and i was attached!!! 50p size of flappy skin between me and the hoe!

annoying really as I had to just potter about one handed weeding!
Got a bit sun burnt too lol.
