Went down to lottie for the first time in over three weeks.  Got a bucket full of goodies.  Parsnips, sprouts, cabbage, PSB.  Reckon more than £6 worth of veg.

Does it count that I made a flan with frozen raspberries, from my garden last Autumn? (no lottie  :tongue3:).  All I have still growing are leeks and some watercress.

Cabbage with chicken dinner.  Went down to lottie to pick it today in pouring rain.  Paddled up the stream that was path, such a sad sight, site deserted, plots flooded etc.
BTW anyone got a knitting pattern for life jackets for onions?

Squash, onions and garlic.  Pan fried sliced pork and squash pieces, topped with a sauce made of half a pint of veggie water, a heaped tablespoon of peanut butter dissolved in the veggie water and with shredded hot peppers, sliced onion and garlic added.  Left to cook on gentle heat for 20 minutes with lid on.  Sorry, this is turning into a recipe .............

Leeks, with pasta and grated cheese. I love potatoes, but we are running low - for the first time since years we don't have any to give away! :sad10:

Well yes! i had roasted squash, onions, parsnip, toms and last jalapenoes for lunch then 'coleslaw' from cabbage and leeks [+raisins and walnuts ] all from plot. Waiting for PSB and some caulies to do their stuff. During lent I don't buy any food  except 3 pts of milk delivered per week. It makes me eat my stash and what's still growing is a bonus I bank on every year. By week 6 choice is limited but then it always is for most of the world...
