Have arrived at our Lottie shop.. is there any advantage/disadvantage to putting them in now rather than waiting to the start of October? :-\

I was reading the other day that if you plant too early, they have a tendency to bolt in the spring.
It seems a reasonable comment given that if they put on too much growth, they think it is time to seed!

That's what I thought, and I think recommended to someone else... just wondering if anyone had any actual experience of starting them early.. :-\
