Thanks for the comments. The scarecrows came form the pound shop. Our grandson called them Fifi and Bob after two of his favourite characters.

Thanks again for your encouragement. Mary and I have really enjoyed our first 6 months and both worked hard for the results. The lottie has kept us out of mischief.  ;)She is in France a the moment and has had withdrawal symptoms. She has found herself looking lovingly at allotment sites and feeling homesick. ::) ::) ::)
