Well Done old Chap.
« on: July 01, 2009, 06:25:37 »
This Judge should be put in charge of our criminal justice system, common sense at last, although the sentence could have been longer.

Makes a change from the victim being charged with assault.

"he got what he deserved " I never thought we would hear those words again in our courts.
Well done to the old chap and the judge.

This judgement does not fly in the face of what people believe about British justice.  It does not contradict what happened in cases such as the Tony Martin case.  This judgement is in line with what has been British law for years and still is.  The burglar pulled a knife and (less than) reasonable force was used against him as a consequence.
