Something to do on a rainy day
« on: April 09, 2009, 13:28:23 »
Have just finished preparing and roasting these parsnips ready for the freezer. They have been stored in sand since last November and had started to get a bit hairy so rather than lose them we decided to freeze them . We grew a lot more last year cos the year before we ran out before Christmas.Sometimes a rainy day can be useful.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
