I was thinking of blight as well.

Keep an eye on this http://www.blightwatch.co.uk/, I've got it set to my postcode, and also will get sms notifications when it gets dangerous.  Got the bordeaux at the ready, though.

I hope not, I'm sick of having spuds and toms wiped out every year. It usually takes a while to get moving, but you can't be too careful.
