A few pears!

The wind has begun to bring down the Perry pears from our tree, by the kilo. Sadly they are hard as nails, not very tasty and apart from making Perry (pear equivalent of Cider) not a lot of use. Even the hens won't eat them.

Oh Eric,
That is so sad to see them wasted oh well compost heap here they come.
When would you have picked them?
