All grown up!

Here are 7 of our 8 call ducks. The other male was off somewhere harassing a hen. Which are this years and which the original three? Without looking at the wings to see which have been pinioned (not by us, we think it is cruel) it is hard to tell now that they have their adult plumage.

Not my care I confess. Anne lets them out in the morning, and chases them back in at night. She also throws the bread for them too and puts out the layers pellets and the corn which they adore.

Ah well, nice to see credit given where it's due - but the ducks have benefited anyway ...
