Whose Egg is it?
« on: May 31, 2009, 17:20:45 »
We found an egg on the allotment buried under some compost left on top of some weed fabric. It looked intact, was white and was about the size of a tennis ball (though obviously egg shaped).

Any idea what kind of egg it is and where it came from??

Oh dear. What should I do with it? we've reburied it at the moment.

I did think about snakes but it'd have to be a pretty big one for the size of egg :o

Grass snake eggs are a lot smaller than that.

Last year we were always digging up eggs that the fox had buried
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
