A Little update
« on: May 28, 2009, 12:12:09 »
He everyone, I've had computer trouble so not been able to visit the site for a few weeks but have been working hard on my plot.

When i first got it and found A4A I thought the most I would manage this year would be some spuds, onions and betroot becuase of the state of the plot.  Well, I have followed lots of your good advice and am so proud to say i am growing:

Spuds x 4 varieties
Onions + spring onions
Salads
radish - wood lice have eaten lots tho
beetroot
runner beans
peas
toms
cue
chilis
capsicums
rhubarb
raspberrys
courgettes
butternut squash
various herbs

got few more bits to put in and still loads of digging to do.  To be honest its all a bit of an experiment this year and I know not everything will work but I am loving it.

So thank you all  ;D ;D

Well done on your progress. Don't worry if some things don't do well, that happens most years for everybody!

Post some pics  ;D

Well done Lushy, sounds like you've made fantastic progress. And I know what you mean about the "experimental " side of things, 2 years on and I'm still experimenting, I don't think it will ever stop  ;D

and this site is great init  ;D

Well done Lushy - with my memory everything I do is an experiment!!
If you are anything like me get a notepad and write what you planted, where and when.

Lushy good for you! As others have said every year tends to be a bit of an experiment.
Apart from digging and weeding it's all great fun as well!
Happy gardening! xx
