Just seen this thread mentioned on the 'Shed Competition' one....

I really LOVE these ramshackle sheds!  There is a massive allotment site in Birmingham which looks a bit like a shanty town because all the sheds seem to be home-made. Much nicer than the regimented rows of identical sheds we have on our site.

I agree, (I've only just seen this thread too) I like ramshackle ones - but they have to be functional to be nice. There's ramshackle and then there's ramshackle...

I'm impressed with people who make a shed themselves out of doors and windows. I don't know how to do it. I like to aspire to it one day, when I have more time.

No one has a shed like that on our site, if they have anything, they're all the 6 x 4' Wickes sheds with the little diamond above the door.

And I LOVE the toilet planter too. Quality porcelainware on the allotment.
