If you enter your site and win (best 2nd or 3rd) you get a certificate, and in derby some vouchers to spend at one of the local GC's... looks like they are trying to drum up entries/increase the field...

We got a card pushed through the letterbox saing that the member of the leisure and culture trust had noticed 'how nice our garden was' and would we consider entering the competion that you mention Manic's. On their website the winners of each catergory will get a certificate, trophy and b and q vouchers. So far there are 108 entries from wigan and leigh - I chose not to make it 109  ;D ;D

we have the same thing the council asking certain allotments to take part and okay there are vouchers available but the main reason is that they want to give the judges the impression that they working along with there allotment holders and helping them to achieve there aims because the council want to win the main title of the big competition and getting the support of the allotments earns them more points.
