Hi GrannyJanny, didn't realise you were in my part of the world!

Just been rained off my plot - I was in the middle of planting out a third wave of peas when the drizzle started & the rain was running off the end of my nose when I'd finished.  3 miles away near home, it's dry.  Typical, although we have a severe weather warning in force for the rest of today.  We need the rain, but it may be more than we can cope with.

Ho Hum.
is it in the sale?

Nuffink in Sarfest London - well not in Forest Hill.  Drysabone!  I'll need to get down the plot and water it - that'll make it rain.
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

Kea. Looking more promising this morning, not sure how long it has been raining. I sometimes have to visit the garden in the middle of the night, well not me but a dog that often gets me up, but last night she slept all night. So I only know it was raining when I got up at 6.50am :)

At the moment it's chucking it down here in Peterborough. Not sure how long it's been raining for but every drop is very welcome...

Looks like Ghandi might need his wellies on.

It's definitely raining in Leeds - i had to wade through mini rivers to get to work this morning! oh well at least it's doing my plants good even if I've now got very soggy feet!

not sure how much but some fell last night into this morning, did a test and the soil is wet about 2" down. the sun is out now with some wind so it will probably all evaporate ::).

Yes Finally, it did look a bit light when I got up...about the same time as you, Lorna. It has picked up though I wouldn't say it's chucking it down just steady rain, hopefully it's not just bouncing off!

Bin peeing down here seems like forever. Went to the plot today and just had enough time to tie the sweet peas in.Its gonna rain tomorrow but we are going to Walsall Rd allotments for their open day whatever
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
