Two become one!
« on: May 12, 2009, 17:17:52 »
Last year, about August I think, I was given a greenhouse which was identical to the 8 x 6 I already had.

Well, I've eventually got round to sorting it....

Going to use this one for cukes and melons, and peppers/chillies.

16 x 6, not a bad size.  :)
I hoe, I hoe, then off to work I go.

My OH did that for me years ago!  He had already put up an 8 x 6 greenhouse (8 foot wide, rather than 6 foot wide - makes a huge difference).  In the storm of 1987 part of a tree came down in the next garden and lo and behold - there was its twin - in the garden at the end of our neighbour.  We paid him for a new greenhouse, dismantled the fence and his greenhouse, and built it in our garden at the end of ours.  But my OH, clever chap that he was, put an extra panel between the two - making it 8 x 14 - fantastic.

Size does matter when it comes to greenhouses....... ;)
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

That is very nice,

I will aspire to copy you,  :) Col
... I am warmed by winter sun and by the light in your eyes.
I am refreshed by the rain and the dew
And by thoughts of you...
