I am planning on ordering some strawberry plants which will arrive in october, will they be ok to plant out on lottie & should i cover the new plants with fleece?

I should think they will be fine to plant, after all, they are hardy little critters! I believe the sooner you can get them in and they can get established, the more chance of getting a reasonable harvest from them next year.
