Hi rhubarb crown looking very sick whilting some stalks starting to rot re planted crown start of march not intending to take fruit this season advice to save crown would be grateful

Mine started to do that - it was transplanted in November.
Remedy - I watered the whole area really well - two watering cans worth then put on a thick mulch of WRM. it looked a bit perkier this morning :D

It has been very dry and I can only think that the replanted crown has not yet developed long enough roots to survive the mini drought. Give them a drink.

Put loads of wet/moist manure around the base of the plant. Keep it damp for a week or so if this dry spell continues
