Fantastic garden- as always I enjoy your pictures so much.
What do you do with all the daff leaves as they die.? Just plant around them, tie them??
Do you fertilize them?  I have small clumps here and there which looks spotty- after seeing your display I might move them all to one area.

You gardeners are an incredible inspiration to me!  :D :D

Well you asked so I will reply  ;)

I would buy a nanny goat and tether it up on the lawn then the advantages you have over mine is;

Goats milk

Goats Cheese

and manure.

What more could you ask for?  8)

Tee Gee - stunning as always!

jessands - My 3 yo daughter was nearly in tears yesterday when I pulled the heads off some of her "lovely yellow flowers". And you know, they are pretty if you forget the whole weed thing. If dandelions didn't spread everywhere, I'm sure they would be sold as ornamentals!

tee gee WOW!!!! goooooorgeous and then some! i wish i could get things to grow in my garden like that!

and re the lawn, hey theres grass between them thar flowers, parts of my "lawn" are as bold as a well, lets not go there!!! i dont mind the odd dandelion as the bunnys n guinea like to munch them, and i think u can make dandelion tea with it? i let the 4 leggeds earn theyre keep tho by keeping what there is trimmed and manured, its amazing how quick they take down the grass and much easier than a lawnmower too! they work on damp lawns and fertilise as they go, hurrah! lol! seriously tho if a goats too big borrow a few bunnys and a run and away u go  ;D
i think i like it here :D now who can tell me how to grow my own chocolate???

That's bee heaven at this time of year. They're bringing in great masses of dandelion pollen at the moment.

Some of us look at the dandelions and think "hot dandelion salad with hardboiled egg, crumbled bacon and sweet and sour dressing- yummy."
