Have you ever grown Tomatillos? What variety did you grow?
What were your results?

I grew them last year, they are a bit odd, i just got a salsa kit unnamed.
They were pretty and grow like chinese gooseberries. They do taste good. Almost like a cross between a tomato and an apple. but I found it hard to judge when they were ripe.
Lots of fruit grew and fruited outside and did better than the outdoor tomatoes.
Give em a try !

I'm not a fan of the taste, great plants though, watch out if you grow them outside they self seed everywhere!

Presumably here in the UK they would germinate in a nice warm snap and then get killed by a late(r) frost...  :-\

I grew a couple of plants last year (no idea what variety though) and while they grew and cropped well on an exposed allotment we didn't like the taste of them much and never got round to making any salsa out of them so they proved to much not much more than an interesting experiment lol :)

Nice big plants, interesting and easy to grow.

Fruits are vile vile vile.
Best laid plans and all that
