She thinks of it as exercise and it beats dieting.

Good ploy!

Unfortunately, even with a replacement knee, at 87, She's not really up to it.

By the way - them's not  lazily left mowings - they're the first pass with the scarifier.

Shame we can't compost it, but it's had the killer stuff on it.
