I presume you've got your insurance guys on the go - I'm sure they'll make mince meat of her claims, the police can't be bothered by the sounds of it, but I bet you the insurance guys will be! Or is that another can of worms?? (hope not!)

I hope you can get it a bit sorted in your head so you can concentrate on your exam on friday - and good luck for Friday

Her insurance company has admitted liability finally, so she hasn't got a leg to stand on where the personal injury claim is concerned.  I think I'm just gobsmacked at the level of sheer incompetence displayed by my local police force, like I said, it's not the first time, and I doubt very much if it'll be the last.

So does that mean she's told 1 thing to the insurance and another thing to the police?? Or as you say the police just don't want to be involved, in that case I'd definitely complain!

Well I would say that this is most definitely the police not being bothered.  They took two months to speak to her and that was only because I chased them up.  It's nothing new, I don't know why I'm surprised.  When I had a car broken into about 6 years ago, they asked me to drive it to them, with the door hanging off, so they could fingerprint it!  And when we called them out for the incident itself, having chased the little toerags up the road, because we couldn't say if the kids top was grey or white (it was 2am in the morning), they let him go, despite the fact that we saw him throw the stuff he used into a lane!

I am seriously considering a complaint to be honest.
