potatoe fertiliser
« on: March 08, 2009, 12:38:21 »
i'm going to plant my first potaoes in the next week or so and was wondering about fertiliser, one of the guys down the allotments said to use some of the cow manure that i've got and put it in the bottom of the trench but the manure is not that well rotted.
or should i just buy some potatoe fertiliser and use that, just wondering what everyone else uses  ;D

Your cow manure will be fine, if you are growing comfrey you can use that as a top dressing later in the season.
