pampass grass

 hi have cut back my pampass grass today and wanted to know if there is any reason not to put it on compost heap. i attacked it with my mower so it was chopped up nice.

Chopped up pampas grass sounds like a great thing to put on the compost heap.

how about in a bean trench as aposed to grass clippings. ???
