gt houghton anyone?

is there anyone outthere from gt houghton,orsurrounding areas,
would like to swap tips on what veggies grow best or worst.
cannot seem to grow a decent carrot or parsnip.
could this be the area live in?no problems growing anything else.

Is that Gt Houghton near Northampton?

Its a lovely village, I know someone who used to live there.......they loved it.

It is a lovley village star
but this ones in south yorkshire.
inbetween Barnsley and Doncaster.
near a little posh place called "thurnscoe"
its nice at Northhampton been a few times fishing
at drayton resviour

Only a stones throw away i'm over in wombwell whereabouts are you opposite the co op? Never had any success with carrots either no bigger then fingers or if they do they seem to get carrot fly. Tied flyaway this year they were rubbish.

sometimes I'm a bit slow to reply and I can't grow carrots either but can help with parsnips
