Ready to go seed pots at Wilko's
« on: February 11, 2009, 22:36:57 »
I wanted to grow some mild chillies this year (I have so many really hot ones in the freezer still) and was pleased to find paper pots of compost with seeds all ready to go for £1 each. I bought 'Poblano'. There were six seeds in the envelope, more than enough for my needs.

I checked T & M catalogue - a packet of 10 seeds costs £1.69 so I think the pot from Wilko's is a bargain.

They had a selection of peppers to choose from - sweet or hot including red or yellow bell, jalapeno and a couple of others.

I enjoyed browsing today and found lots of interesting new innovations for gardeners. I already have all the seeds I need - but still bought butternut seeds and Gordon's favourite - Boltardy Beetroot seeds. They also have fruit bushes and other plants.
