My special tool !

Here is the tool with which I get the best elderberries (as well as crab apples).  No patent so cobble one up.  Cheers, Tony. ;D

Do you get funny looks from people who see you carrying that? If my grandchildren saw you, they would have to make some comment about it.

Looks pretty good -certainly beats walking around with a free-standing ladder! Hmmm -I've got a long handled pruner and I'm sure there's a defunct shrimping net in the beach hut................

Just wish I could get ours to fruit lower though -all the branches that do stick out of the hedge don't fruit. Maybe elderberries fruit on 2-yesr old wood?

Oooh clever idea! I'm going to make one for picking those pears at the top of my pear tree which I can't reach. Until now hubby cuts and I run around the bottom of the tree trying to catch, 90% of the time they hit the deck!

I love the gadget I too catch and hubby cut the apples got some too high for him and if they fall they will be brused. Great idea
