So Happy in Windsor!
« on: September 02, 2004, 14:22:13 »
Hi everyone
i am pleased to announce that i have got a site inspection with my windsor allotment guys on sunday where i will finally choose my plot! i am so excited i have butterflies in my tummy!
The soil is great because it used to be a pig farm 50 years ago, that is a relief because my garden has heavy clay soil.
Bottle of champs this weekend i think!

Jemma x

Great news Jemma sounds like an ideal site with all that lovely soil to work with. Post some pictures for us to see when you get them.  :D

Wow!  An old pig farm - how fertile is your soil going to be! My husband says pig manure is the best manure you can get.  So lucky you.  Every good luck with your lottie Jemma, sounds like you are off to a great start.  :) busy_lizzie
