Welcome to the site. I've had my half plot since september and it's very adictive :) , i've planted lots of fruit that my kids can pick and eat.

It looks nice and level. I would concentrate on the area that is workable for now, as stuff can be planted soon and can be growing while you make a start on the rest.

Make full use of the compost bin and start collecting now to fill it. Plan out on paper how you want the layout and if your having raised beds or not. Is that tree on your plot, If so have you asked your neighbour what it is?
Make a list of any existing plants/trees and if you are able to move them to suit your layout.

Have fun and keep posting pictures of your progress.

Neil
