Thanks for your  king words Richard, it's surprising how hearing from the ones that have succeeded spurs one on to keep trying.  As I never ever thought I would try to give it up I am pleased I have got this far.

Hopefully Tony when i get over this chest infection and get back to my normal self it will be easier and I will be able to keep active.

Hope you have an easy day tomorrow.

Had a bad moment at the supermarket today. I looked longingly at a scrunched dog end on the floor, luckily I didn't have a light......................now that's really bad isn't it??? ;D ;D ;D

Don't beat yourselves up if you have a weak moment or see a dog end and want to pick it up. Always remember that a drug is what you are giving up.
Get up again dust yourself off and start again. When I stopped , If I started craving for a cig I used to tell myself that I could go and get myself a bag of glue (cos its just the same) This had always repulsed me when I had seen people doing it. It really did help me. Anyhow keep up the good work you are all doing really well.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Thanks Shirl, one has to worry about looking longingly at dog ends as what will become of me when I 've lost it completely ;D ;D ;D

I tell you I used to dream about smoking every night. The dreams were that vivid that I really used to wake up thinking that I really had smoked. I also used to dream about people that I admired (non smokers) and they were puffing away at their cigs. I think it must be the mind trying to trick us into having a fix..

Come on Shirl, tell me how I do it..........................please.  I really am feeling desperate today, so much so I am going to have to go and put the ironing board up..................... I hate ironing too ;D

Wonder how Tony is keeping himself occupied today and how Powerspade is getting on.

Shirl, you could earn a few bob here if you taught us all how to dream the smoking dream ;D ;D ;D

I'm keeping busy!!, been down the lotty to get some veg, and to get a large bucket full of 2 yr old horse sh*t, for my mate to grow mushrooms in, under the bench in his orchid house. I'm cooking a roast (organic chicken) as the O.H. is loking after her mum (75yrs), who's just out of hospital after major surgery. Doing a bit of assignment work for college, washing up (by hand) whilst doing a bit of birdwatching (we overlook the old cemetery), etc, etc,....... ;D ;D

Hope your mother-in-law gets well soon Tony.

I wish I had your energy, maybe when my chest infection has gone I will get back into being hyperactive ;D

Tony do you know a place called Ditchingham?  Sorry off topic.
