Come on  time to fess up lets see who has the worse or the most embarrassing.

Mine is quite tame, just the musical watch tune from a few dollars more. But it creates a certain deathly hush in the pub when it goes off.

Um, well I have two that have varied reactions....... one is baywatch which goes off when my best mate rings because we had a scream dancing to it on her birthday, so it's become a bit of a legend.  And the other is a song called Bodies by Drowning Pool which is a pretty full on metal song that's very loud and generally scares the living daylights out of people.  Oh and I also have Ghostbusters for my fellow paranormal investigators when they ring me!  ;D

Mine is 'Broken Up A Ding Dong' by the Beta Band and my message tone is the synthy bit from Architecture and Morality by OMD.  So I am contender for the coolest - sorry ;D

Mine are Jethro Tull's "Too old to rock n roll", and if the wife calls me my phone plays the shower scene music from Psycho and my message tone is worms in coming. :)

I have a very basic phone (deliberately) that has only a limited number of ringtones and I'm not sure it even accepts downloaded ones!...I used to have one that sounded like a cuckoo, but OH complained he could never get in touch because I could never hear it ringing down the lottie  ;D so I changed it to a loud old fashioned RING RING like the old dial up phones used to sound like....now I just forget to have it switched on half of the time, oh dear......

If I could choose any ringtone I would have the noise the James Coburn's communicator used to make in 'Our Man Flint' 8)

nah, they're all also-rans, nice but not enuff for the title of Most Naff Ringtone....for the most naff ringtone for some (but a Secrit Society Message for Many Others 8)...) it's the one I share with a bestest RL friend who gave it to me one Christmas....and this is how it came about...

She is a lawyer and I was the representative of a group of residents who had been subjected to ASB by a neighbour for upwards of 4 years. I'd got everybody's documented evidence and finally we were preparing to go to Court. My meeting, therefore, was to convince the lawyer that they had a case to take forward on our behalf...The meeting ws scheduled for an hour and after half-an-hour it was hard going - I conceded a point, I gained a point but it was like walking through treacle and not really moving forward.

And then her cellphone rang.

And I smiled.

And I laughed.

And we instantly realized that we'd a LOT of common ground 8)

And we slogged away at the docs til almost lunchtime...job done! and job done to the residents' satisfaction - the legal company would take on the case and back them.

And she and I have been friends ever since that meeting, and last year we went to Barcelona together.

An this year, if we don't 'do' Vegas, we're gonna Krash the Kasbah an I'm gonna trade her in for a camel (good stuff camel dung, apparently :D)

Oh! I nearly forgot.....the ringtone?
