I made these last year and made each individual for each person,I put in quality street
chocolate, men got torches(99p)..ladies got either nail varnish in colours they liked, lip salves and they also got tokens for trollies, also handbag charms are good..I even found some goves for ray's mum  :o
handbag mirrors, hair brushes, small after shaves.
plus of course, cheesy jokes and hats  ;D

A packet of seeds for a gardener or child, keyring, christmassy earings, Hawkins Bazaar do lots of small things for kids, mobile phone top-up voucher, plant labels, for a foodie something like a packet of spices, one of those packets of curry mix on the 'special' shelves in Sainsburys, a packet of screws and rawl plugs to match, Hawkins also do sets of puzzles like those metal puzzles we used to get, which are quite good round the table while people are waiting for others to finish their meal.

I like things like this to think about.

One of my sons has Asperger's syndrome and one of his 'symptoms' is a fear of the unexpected eg parcel contents, cracker contents etc really stress him, so we make up crackers together and name them then he knows what is in them and it makes it easier on the day!

Will keep thinking...

Sometimes I just put in nice chocolates as these can be as appreciated as anything.

Forfeits can be fun too......as long as they are not standing on your head....not advisable after christmas dinner!

I'm putting small home made bath bombs in mine this year. Novelty lighters, mini sewing kits, fancy hair bobbles, chocolate coins, pencil toppers, things from kids party bags, yo-yos etc. I normally raid the kids party bit at Wilkinsons. The adults love having something silly.

decided in  a fit of madness to make my own crackers this year now need to find things that will fit in them. not too expensive as i have 12 to fill.

Get them pulled first thing and put one of twelve jobs in for Christmas day:

Prepare Yorkshire puddings,
Prepare the table
Serve dinner
Clear the table
Wash the pots (Best put this one in two of them)
Clear wrapping paper
Pour the drinks
Feed the dog
Occupy the kids
Build the toys as required....
One lucky person - just rest

Do seperate ones for kids..... Just enjoy

All you do and all you see is all your life will ever be
