Too late to plant?
« on: October 25, 2008, 13:45:29 »
Have realised that I have forgotten to plant my Senshyu Onion sets for this winter. I live in Dorset ...... am I too late to plant these if I do it this weekend?

I haven't put mine in yet either, but planning to on Monday - they'll either grow or they won't!

Nothing to lose,  They may take a touch longer to be ready for harvest.

I put mine in two weeks ago and most of them have 1/4 inch growth, but its not too late, one of my books say's put in, in Dec if not done so already, it depends on the weather, they need a head start before it gets too cold, so get em in.  ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

Thanks for the helpful replies. They are now planted so hopefully will be OK.  My garlic was planted in good time... am trying Blanak for the first time. Anyone any comments on how it crops ... any tips or problems with it?

Thanks again!
