Autumn in The Park
« on: October 25, 2008, 21:09:02 »
Some photo's I took today in a London Park.  It was beautiful but I don't think these do the colours justice.

Of course if this slideshow works at all.

Just lovely, but I think you have some repeat pics in the slideshow or was that just to check that we are paying attention?   ;)  ;D

May I ask which park?

No Georgie, none are exactly the same, you need  a discerning eye for my photo's.

It's something I learnt at photography college, you move fractional to the left or right and although others see it as the same snap you the photographer can tell the difference.  It is an art that takes many years of practice.

It is Cannizaro Park

Well that's me told.   :(  Just off to delete all my amateur snaps from the site: I may be some time.   ::)

Glorious Sinbad, but where were the people? How lovely to have the park to yourself. ;D
Smile, it confuses people.

I got up at the crack of dawn to take those photo's Emaggie so there were no people in my photo's :)

I have driven by this park for years and had never been in there until Friday afternoon but of course didn't have my camera with me.  I was so taken with the colours and the peace and quiet I decided to get up early Saturday morning to take some snaps.

Thursday afternoon when I was wandering around in the park I saw a gate and it led to?????

Yes, allotments. How lucky these plots holders are it is an idyllic site.  When I got back to my friends I looked the site up online and there is a nine year waiting list and as I don't live here I will just look at the site in wonder. I could have fancied moving to be on such a site ::)
